We are dedicated to the improvement of the French Bulldog breed. The intent of this contract is to assure that the dogs produced by us will receive appropriate care and will be protected from indiscriminate breeding, so that the outstanding qualities of health and temperament are enhanced. It is to be recognized that each puppy represents many years of careful breeding and is considered to be of extreme value for both: to the breeder and to the potential adopter.

The Buyers Responsibilities:
The buyer must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of delivery. The seller must be informed of the examination results immediately by email, or US mail. The failure to comply will result in the immediate cancellation of this guarantee. The buyer must provide the puppy with routine preventive care such as, but not limited to:
* Annual physical examinations by a licensed veterinarian
* Vaccinations and de-worming as recommended by veterinarian
All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.
 
Health Guarantee:
 
1. Seller guarantees that afore listed puppy is in good health and has received appropriate medical inoculations, worming and care. Seller will provide Buyer with a medical records detailing treatment Puppy has received under Seller's care, and any future care Seller feels is essential to Puppy's well being.
2. Seller guarantees that Puppy is free of life threatening diseases or disabilities to my knowledge at this time and as far as the eye can see.
3. At no time will the Seller be responsible or obligated to pay for Veterinary Treatments not agreed upon in advance and in this contract.
4. Under no conditions and at no time during the life of the dog will Seller pay or assist in paying veterinary expenses after the dog is purchased, including any such expenses directly or indirectly related to any inheritable/genetic defects.

*The afore listed puppy is guaranteed until one year of age against fatal and life altering congenital diseases which adversely affects the health of the animal. This includes severe hip dysplasia which hampers the dog's movement and natural gait and which requires surgery to correct, kidney, heart, pancreas, spine and liver problems of a severe, life threatening or altering nature. If the dog dies within this one-year time frame, the buyer must pay to have the animal autopsied to determine the reason. If the reason is found to be congenital, the Seller will replace the puppy as soon as one is available.
*This guarantee does not apply to defects that are related to brachiocephalic breeds such as eye and respiratory problems. Some of these problems include, but are not limited too: "loose” hips, skin allergy, cherry eye, Stenotic Nares (collapsed nostrils), elongated soft pallets, collapsed trachea, trichiasis, entropion, distichia, pigmentary keratitis, etc.
*All puppies covered under this guarantee are for replacements only. We do no issue refunds for any reason.
*The Seller will not be responsible for any medical expenses incurred. The Buyer is aware that owning a puppy means providing trips to the veterinarian and understands he/she will be responsible for all payments.
*As of the date of delivery, the puppy has received the proper vaccinations and de-worming at the proper times. The Buyer has been informed of this and of future vaccinations and worming's due.
*This guarantee does not include Coccidia and Kennel Cough, which is common in puppies and usually caused by bacteria. Kennel Cough is self-limiting and like the common cold, it must run its course. Full recovery can be expected and Kennel Cough on its own is not a life-threatening ailment.
*This guarantee does not include hernias as most hernias resolve themselves as the puppy grows. Hernias that do not resolve themselves are not life threatening and can be repaired during spay/neutering procedure.
*If at any time the Buyer cannot care for the puppy, the Seller will accept a return of the puppy at the Buyer’s expense, if shipping is required. Seller will not repurchase.
*A puppy showing any serious genetic or congenital defect will be replaced as follows:
1. The animal must exhibit the defect by one year of age. The Seller must be notified of the problem within two business days of the licensed veterinarians determination and have two reports from two unassociated veterinarians stating the same problem and the Seller will provide a replacement puppy of equivalent value.
2. A puppy with a defect must be returned or euthanized with the prior permission of the seller to qualify for a replacement puppy.
3. No refund, in full or in part, will be given under any circumstances.
*A returned puppy must be returned to the seller in good condition, other than the specified problem, at the buyer’s expense. The owner will then qualify for a replacement puppy.
*The buyer is responsible for transportation costs to and from the seller for the replacement puppy.
*This guarantee applies to the original puppy only and is nontransferable to a second party.
*No replacement puppy will be given if the puppy has been bred, spayed, neutered or euthanized without the sellers’ permission.
*The replacement puppy will be one mutually agreed upon by both parties and will be of comparable quality. It is understood that the replacement puppy may not be from the exact same parents of the original puppy.
*There are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, for example: allergies, thyroid dysfunction, demodectic mange, and other autoimmune disorders that are not covered by this guarantee.
*Any physical problem, which is or could be the result of injury, is not covered under this guarantee.
*There is no guarantee or warranty that the Buyer will be able to show or breed the puppy regardless of show or breeding potential exhibited as a puppy.
*This contract supersedes any and all previous agreements.
*This contract is null and void if the terms and conditions are not fulfilled.
*The Buyer agrees that he/she understands this contract fully, and that this contract is under the jurisdiction of the State of North Carolina, in the county of Catawba. If is agreed that the place of venue shall be in Catawba County, North Carolina.

Shipping//Delivery: 
Domestic airlines quit shipment of live animals as a cargo but option to have puppy on a plane as a carry-on on your returned flight is available. Majority of time we let the buyer pick up their own puppy. However, puppy can be hand delivered to buyer at airport of choice at buyers expenses-in another words we will fly ourselves your puppy to you if you are unable to pick him up yourself. We deliver free of charge to our closest airport CLT at Charlotte, NC. We will deliver/meet you for a gas fee up to a 4 hours drive both ways.
 
Sellers Disclaimer:
As Seller is only guaranteeing above puppy as a healthy companion pet & that the puppy's pedigree is correct to the best of Seller's knowledge, Buyer agrees not to hold Seller responsible (except for congenital/genetic defects guaranteed & covered as detailed above) in any manner in the unlikely event that a problem might arise from puppy's parentage.

Spay/Neuter Agreement:

This puppy is being sold and warranted for the purpose of being a pet and companion only. No warranty is given to the Buyer(s) for any special purpose or function of this dog other than being a companion dog. Spaying or neutering is required by the age of 12 months old. This will help eliminate certain health issues that could be deadly to your dog such as Testicle cancer in males and ovarian cancer in females. It will help avoid undesirable traits such as marking territory in males and heat cycles in females. This will also eliminate the possibility of an accidental breeding and an unwanted litter of puppies.
If this puppy is not spayed or neutered by 12 months of age, buyer agrees to return the puppy to the breeder. No refund will be given and buyer agrees to be responsible for transporting the puppy back to the breeder. In the event legal action is required for the breeder to re-obtain possession of the puppy, buyer agrees to pay for all court cost and related expenses.
Buyer agrees to provide good care and a loving environment for this puppy and agrees to house the puppy primarily indoors as part of the family.
Buyer, please be aware that due to the facial structure (brachycephalism) of a French Bulldog/Pug they can overheat quickly and easily and may die as a result of heatstroke.
Seller will gladly accept return of the puppy, at any age, if Buyer is ever unable to keep it. No refund, in full or in part, will be given under any circumstances.
This warranty is nontransferable and is void if the puppy is sold and/or full or partial ownership is transferred to another person.

Temperament:
1. Seller strongly recommends that Buyer alter/train Puppy.
2. Seller strongly recommends that Buyer attend obedience classes with Puppy and provide
proper socialization opportunities for the Puppy.
3. Seller shall not be held responsible for acts of Puppy destruction, or any Puppy acts, and/or dog/dog actions, dog/cat actions as these are the buyer responsibilities once the pup leaves the seller’s home, and any acts/actions, which are due to Buyers negligence.
