Bred for Quality...Raised with Love
Companions full of comfort,
So cheerful, bright and glad
Pugs will not ignore you
Or leave you feeling sad.
In Ukraine and Russia we call them "MOPS", in France people call them "CARLIN", and here you call them a "PUG"...
Yes, we are talking about same breed of dog...our little presious, brave, funny, very intelligent, talanted, smart, perfect companions...well, I can continue this list...Our PUGS.
There are a lot of legends about the origin of pugs and all of them are beautiful. Here is one of them. The Lion fell in love with a Squirrel and his love was so deep that he began to ask the Gods to find a way for them to be together. The Gods had mercy for him and transformed a giant Lion into the tiny Pug. Perhaps, therefore, the Pugs till now think, that they are as huge strong Lions and not afraid of anybody? Who knows? If you take a close look at an adult Pug male-he is a strong, brawny, with massive head, with greater folds (collar) on his neck, just looks like the LION!
Before the revolution of 1917 in Russia, pugs were in the big honour. But in 1928 began persecutions on this wonderful breed. Bolsheviks had been published the special order, forbidden to keep pugs in Moscow. The pug has been recognized "bourgeois", and consequently, a useless dog. It has been solved, that the Soviet dog should live in a back yard and work for a bowl of porridge, instead of roll in the warm house on down pillows. As a result of this monstrous order pugs in Russia had been exterminated. Even as recent as 1970 very few people knew about this breed even in large cities. Revival has begun in the beginning of 1980's...
From the tip of their little black noses nestled in soft wrinkles, to their ever-wagging tails curling over their broad backs, Pugs now in Russia and Ukraine are one most beloved dog breeds. And here, in America they are too, most beloved companions...and it's easy to see why! A fun-loving spirit, keen intelligence and devoted nature are just some of the characteristics that make them so popular. Pugs are absolutely irresistible! And I am pleased to announce that beside Frenchies we have AKC fawn PUG female!
It's our first "Pug" experience, but I already in love with this little monkeys.
They have such wonderful face expression, that absolutly unpossible not to love them.

What is limited registration?
Answer:
Limited Registration means that the dog is registered but litters produced by that dog are ineligible for registration. In addition, a limited dog cannot compete in conformation shows. It is eligible, however, to be entered in any other licensed or member event, including Obedience, Tracking, Field Trials, Hunting Tests, Herding, Lure Coursing, Agility, Rally, and Earthdog.
The breeder assigns limited registration to a dog by marking (blackening) out the limited registration box on the application. The limited box should not be marked if the dog is being fully registered. When registering a dog on-line, you will be prompted to enter the three numbers in the limited box to receive full registration. Failure to do so will result in a limited registration.
Limited Registration certificates are white with an orange border; the Full Registration certificate is white with a purple border.
Answer:
Limited Registration can be changed to Full Registration only by the litter owner(s). The litter owner(s) will need to obtain the Application for Removal of Limited Registration of an AKC-Registered Dog (form AXLTDR). That form should be completed and sent to our Raleigh address. After processing, we will send a Full Registration certificate to the dog's owner.
Show Potential Puppies:
All show potential puppies are sold on a show contract and must finish their AKC Championship title prior to being used in a breeding program.

To learn more about Pugs go to
This book has all the information you need to purchase a pug. It includes grooming, showing and training as well as problems with the breed. This book was so complete, from giving the full history of the breed to complete information on each of the major breeders of the dog today. I found that this book reads easily, is entertaining as well as informative, and provides information not previously covered in other Pug books.
